1856 - Born in Pittsburgh's South Side, the son of Phillip Georg and Margaret (Keinert) Zoeller.
1880 - When the federal census was taken, Phillip was age 24, and resided with his parents on 16th Street in Pittsburgh. His occupation was as a molder apprentice.

Worked as a molder apprentice and, later, as a molder in glass houses in and around Pittsburgh.
-- Resided at 7th Street and Ohio Avenue (642 Ohio Avenue) in later years.
1882 - Oct. 17 – Married Emma Heintz (“Heinz”), a native of Pittsburgh. Her brothers Otto, Jacob and Fred Heinz were founders of Heinz Bros. & Co. of Pittsburgh, a direct competitor to H.J. Heinz Co. in the manufacture of pickles, ketchup, relish, chow-chow and other food products. It's said she helped finance her brothers in the establishment of the business.
-- At the time of marriage, Phillip was employed as a mold maker and resided at 146 16th Street, 28th Ward, and Emma resided at 1401 Carson Street in the South Side. Lutheran ceremony performed by G. Brand at his residence.
1884 - April 21 – Son Raymond C. Zoeller born in Pittsburgh.
1888 - Feb. 7 - Daughter Hilda Zoeller born
1890 - Jan. – Son Frederick Heinz Zoeller born.

1897 - Moved to Ohio, residing there 3½ years.
1900 - Moved to Beaver Falls, PA, residing on Third Avenue, and working as a molder in glass houses. He was a member of the American Flint Glassworkers. A few years later, moved to Glassport, Allegheny County.
1906 - Pittsburgh City Directory lists him as a laborer residing at 804 Selby Avenue.
1907 - Son Raymond died at age 23 of “acute desquamative nephritis” in Allegheny General Hospital. At the time, was employed as a steel molder. Buried at Glassport, PA.
1915 - Died at age 59 on Weds., Dec. 3, 1915 at home in Glassport, at the corner of Seventh and Ohio Streets. The Pittsburg Dispatch published his obituary the same day. Cause of death: cirrhosis of the liver. The funeral was held on Friday, Dec. 3 by Rev. A.C. Curran of the Glassport Lutheran Church. He was buried at Richland Cemetery, Dravosburg, PA.
1936 - Jan. 9 – daughter Hilda Zoeller died at age 47 of cardio-renal disease. At the time, was employed as a saleslady in Manns Department Store in Pittsburgh, and resided at 5607 Broad Street in Pittsburgh's 11 th Ward. See Allegheny County, PA, Proceedings Index 58, page 94
1961 - April 18 – Son Fred died in Sewickley. See Allegheny County, PA, Proceedings Index 80, page 287.
